Winter in San Francisco, it is not even December yet and people are enjoying the ice. Good music, ice skating, and air cold enough just to wear a sweater. On the ice I have seen couples, kids, people enjoying themselves. See you all on the ice!

Amia Bakery (Fremont, CA) - Pistachio Honey cake: layers of pistachio cake layered with honey mascarpone and frosted with vanilla whipped cream. It was a really light dessert that didn’t make me feel heavy afterwards.

Little gem across the bay bridge. We got to this place by accident and fell in love with it. There is free parking, grilling areas for a bbq picnic, benches to sit at and enjoy the SF skyline, and a nice path to go for a stroll. The Emeryville Marina is worth checking out when you want sunny skies and don’t want to drive too far. Click on picture for map.
